Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Portland, OR)

Fernwood Amber Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Portland. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would join a small organisation of about 40 people based in Portland. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for warranty claims in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with warranty claims. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
