Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Portland, OR)

Highbridge Wren Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Portland. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people based in Portland. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for carrier rates in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
