Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Pittsburgh, PA)

Westbrook Corner Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Pittsburgh and nearby communities. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for meter reading in order. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
