Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Oakland, CA)

Westbrook Vista Property Management looks after rental homes across the Oakland area. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would join a small organisation of about 156 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for rent collection in order. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with rent collection. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
