Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Oakland, CA)

Cedar Sable Housing Group is a nonprofit housing provider in Oakland. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would join a small organisation of about 193 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for waiting lists in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with waiting lists. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
