Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Meridian Foods Group and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be on-call response. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for production batches in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
