Maintenance Technician - on-call response (New Orleans, LA)

Greenridge Birch Foods is a New Orleans food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for ingredient orders in order. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
