Maintenance Technician - on-call response (New Orleans, LA)

Northwind Field Housing provides affordable homes and support services around New Orleans, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for maintenance stores in order. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with maintenance stores. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
