Maintenance Technician - on-call response (New Orleans, LA)

Greenridge Mill Environmental Services Partners is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for fleet maintenance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for fleet maintenance in order. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
