Maintenance Technician - on-call response (New Orleans, LA)

Westbrook Forge Freight is a New Orleans logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for proof of delivery in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
