Maintenance Technician - on-call response (New Orleans, LA)

Ironwood Linden Foods is a New Orleans food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for sanitation schedules in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
