Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Miami, FL)

Fernwood Birch Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Miami. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Miami. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for customer tracking in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with customer tracking. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Miami. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
