Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Knoxville, TN)

Bright Field Housing Group is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for maintenance stores, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for maintenance stores in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with maintenance stores. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
