Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Kansas City, MO)

Northwind River Housing provides affordable homes and support services around Kansas City, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for waiting lists in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with waiting lists. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
