Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Jacksonville, FL)

Westbrook Wren Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Jacksonville, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for recycling loads in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
