Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Indianapolis, IN)

We are growing our team at Lumen Thistle Water Authority and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be on-call response. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for meter reading in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
