Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Indianapolis, IN)

Ironwood Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Indianapolis. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for customer estimates in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with customer estimates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
