Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Ember Press and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be on-call response. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for paper stock in order. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with paper stock. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
