Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Freight and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be on-call response. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for dock schedules in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with dock schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
