Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Hartford, CT)

Silverline Quill Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Hartford. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for work orders in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
