Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Hartford, CT)

Westbrook Linden Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Hartford, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for landfill records in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
