Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Hartford, CT)

Nova River Press is a printer and publisher in Hartford serving local and national clients. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for proofing in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with proofing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
