Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Grand Rapids, MI)

Greenridge Forge Environmental Services is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for collection routes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for collection routes in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with collection routes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
