Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Grand Rapids, MI)

Ironwood Meadow Water Authority is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for pipe repairs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 825 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for pipe repairs in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with pipe repairs.
