Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Grand Rapids, MI)

Harborlight Vista Housing provides affordable homes and support services around Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would join a large organisation of about 866 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for repair requests in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with repair requests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
