Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Fresno, CA)

Silverline Vale Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Fresno, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. You would join a small organisation of about 131 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for meter reading in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
