Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Fresno, CA)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Meridian Foods and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be on-call response. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for customer specifications in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
