Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Fresno, CA)

Foxglove Granite Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Fresno and nearby communities, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for meter reading in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
