Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Detroit, MI)

Bluepeak Partners is a Detroit logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for claims in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
