Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Detroit, MI)

Highbridge Meadow Auto Group is a Detroit company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for vehicle inspections in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with vehicle inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
