Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Des Moines, IA)

Bright Mill Freight is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We reward reliability. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for claims in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
