Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Des Moines, IA)

Westbrook Clear Freight Partners is a Des Moines logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for proof of delivery in order. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
