Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Des Moines, IA)

Cedar Orchard Environmental Services is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for service complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for service complaints in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
