Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Colorado Springs, CO)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Sable Water Authority and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be on-call response. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for meter reading in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Colorado Springs, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
