Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Chicago, IL)

Amberfield West Energy is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for hardship programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for hardship programmes in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
