Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Wren Freight and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be on-call response. You would join a small organisation of about 29 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for claims in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
