Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Chicago, IL)

Bluepeak Auto Group is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for parts orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for parts orders in order. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with parts orders. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
