Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Chicago, IL)

Foxglove Mill Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Chicago, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for collection routes in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with collection routes. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
