Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Chicago, IL)

Lumen Loom Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Chicago area, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for meter reading in order. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
