Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Charleston, SC)

Ironwood Clear Energy is an energy provider in Charleston focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for usage data in order. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with usage data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
