Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Birmingham, AL)

Stonegate Vale Housing is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for resident services, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Housing is our mission and residents are our neighbours. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for resident services in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with resident services. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
