Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Redstone Granite Housing Partners and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be on-call response. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for maintenance stores in order. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with maintenance stores. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
