Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Birmingham, AL)

Clearpath Ridge Manufacturing makes precision components in Birmingham, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for machine downtime in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
