Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Birmingham, AL)

Bluepeak Union Facilities looks after properties across the Birmingham region, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. You would join a large organisation of about 683 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for contractor visits in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with contractor visits. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
