Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Baltimore, MD)

Cedar Press Group prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Baltimore plant. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for customer orders in order. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
