Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Austin, TX)

Summit Vale Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Austin, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for water quality in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
