Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Toledo, OH)

Fernwood Mill Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Toledo. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on equipment repair. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for production batches in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
