Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Spokane, WA)

Highbridge Fern Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Spokane, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our equipment repair. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for carrier rates in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with carrier rates. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Spokane, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
