Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Seattle, WA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Yarrow Freight and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be equipment repair. You would join a large organisation of about 714 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for carrier rates in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with carrier rates. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
