Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Forge Freight and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be equipment repair. You would join a large organisation of about 878 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for claims in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
